driven mikes one-crewcab+hiab, awesome truck, heaps of power

 

Super bargain id say!!

 

Ive always liked the truck!!

 

Oh and ill have commission if the Landy sells matey :biggrin::lol::lol:

as for there being much more to servicing a mog than changing the oil and filters i would be inclined to say that that was quite obvious, .

 

Not really, it is to me I'm a fully qualified HGV mechanic but to someone who has no idea it is far from obvious

 

There's a whole load of things to check and service that the uneducated would have no idea about, the air system alone should have it's own little service regime

 

A landrover could come in and have a full service in a few hours

 

I would seperate everything on a mog to make service easy and carry out each one seperately

 

Engine Service

Driveline Service

Air System service

Brake System Service

 

I may have underquoted costs as I carry out my own servicing, but dont anyone be fooled, Mogs are expensive to own and run there is no doubt about that.

 

If you can offset the running costs against the type of work you do as Dave does then all well and good, but I would not even consider a Mog unless I did mainly commercail work

problem with the merc is its 7.5t. i dont have an operators liecence.....so thats a no. i would love a mog , but for a good one its big money...and as i am a small company i cant afford that and banks wont loan a 20 year old the big money.

 

i think the 130 is what im going to go for.....anyone want a landie 90? haha
