Yea it's terrible at the Otley Big Day Out yesterday we were quiet, so all we could do was watch the lady's on parade.

 

Its a dirty job, jonesie, but someone has to do it!! In the name of PR of course!! And some of them were particularly good-looking.

Joking aside, the temps are getting higher out there today, the temp at the front of the house in the full sun is nudging 38deg C. Take plenty of fluids to work, drink little and often. Take fequent breaks, heat will lead to errors of judgement, even accidents. Take care, and keep an eye on your mates.

Whats the temp in the shade over in england,its our winter and the temp is 34c bloody beau:)tifull

 

You were born on the sun. 34c plus chainsaw strides is insanity. I wish there were more trees in iceland.

I have a large compressor in my workshop, so when I get home I get the airline out and put the blowgun on with a long nozzle.

 

Stick the nozzle down inside my boots and it's like instant aircon. Do the same up your trouser leg, it's like heaven on a day like today.

 

A blower is quite handy for that too!

The temp in the shade that day was only 24C, but you cant always work in the shade!!

 

We tend to cut away our shade as the day gets hotter:thumbsdown:

34c in winter is good concidering it gets up to 46c in summer in the shade and 80% humidity.you have to drink nearly 10 litres of water a day just to stay hydrated
