Buy and learn to use a MIG welder. Nearly everyone i know who has one has had the joy of it knocked out of them by MOT failures,shocking hidden bodges,creeping rot.

The others paid a bomb for a refurb.

they're just crap, you could buy a nice new fast comfortable economical turbo charged T5 transporter for the money you'll pay for a crappy old splitty! total waste of time. my mate had a really rusty battered one he sold it afew years back for FIVE GRAND!! it was a wreck!

So the best I can hope for is the Vdub breaks down on the hard-shouder (covered in pretty flowers) takes 4hrs for the AA to show up, and then spontaneously combusts??? Can life get any worse?
