Another chipper question!

hydrolic pump has now started throwing out litres of oil:bawling: westcon( can never seem to get hold of there work shop guys!) are sending me out a new pump should be here thurs morn.....so to get back in the game asap is it just a question of unbolting the old and slapping on the new?will the system need bleeding or anything.

 

only consolation,after this i will have replaced every major part.... bearings ,shaft,clutch hydrolics in last 6 months so it should be like a new machine...did the clutch yesterday and it transformed the machine already we where just lucky when litres of oil started flying out we where on a gravel drive:cussing:

I'd replace the Hydraulic oil Matty and the filter. and yes the system self bleeds.

how long you been down matty? if id known you have borrowed my 10x5 tipping trailer, you still can if you need too, its only sitting here with a stump grinder on it

thats what i get for beingi tight git though and not buying new...its only really taken me 2 days off shame i got a wedding on sat other wise i would of been able to almost make it up.

thing is it has not been a bad machine apart from its ten years old! but i wouldput it up against a tw 150 and no one wants to nick it!
