snapped crank

husq 357xpg has snapped the crank just where the clutch sits in a boring i ve got no drive way, not even a decent bang :thumbdown: now i ve been quoted around 200 for a new crank so i could rebuild it but it doesnt seem worth it for an old saw.....unless i find another scrap one...

 

problem is that my other saw an 044 is very old but going well but i really wanna exhange both for a newer one and a bit of cash but im a bit skint at the moment!!

ive been using saws for years and never had this problem before. saw was a 2nd hand ebay purchase so no idea the life it had before but i was cutting big dead oak so it was hard work for it.........ive not used the saw a lot........very inconvienient,:sneaky2:
