That is an excellent set up, Stevie. :thumbup1:

I imagine you drove the chipper in to the site.

Would the crane have sufficient power to lift the chipper out over a wall like the one in the pictures?

the crane lifts the chipper no bother and easily out on the first extension. access was good so just drove it off the truck straight into the garden. got the stumps done this morning and emptied the truck.

That's a great looking truck Stevie... and what about the 'wee chipper club' :confused1: does this mean you are no longer a member :001_tt2::laugh1:

better than a grab, mmmmm..NO!!!!! the winch is great, once i sort out the grab situation the winch will still be there even if its on another crane, its unbelievable handy, especially with the height of the jib. Yes selling some chip to a guy over the back, lift up, swing swing drop £30 please. lol.

Rob, i am the president and founder member of the gloria club, she is still getting used and if i never had the tracked one i would of used he on that job no bother, would of taken a bit longer and chipped a bit less wood, but she would of done it easy lol

Do you find that the vibration of timber going through the chipper means the red bar constantly moves into reverse? I have used one and someone nearly always had to hold the bar in position apart from that very powerful feed rollers and cant fault the auto feed no matter how big a piece of wood it never died

No:confused1:there isnt any vibration like that, the one you used must of been a bit dodgy i reckon, either the flywheel was wonky of the bolts were loose that holds the stop bar in position:biggrin:

I just meant general wood being chipped vibration, like you say could have been loose bolts because when we complained about it the guys in the workshop would have a play then would be better. We found it was a bit of a reoccurring problem though still great chippers

Did you find it tipped ok mate? i have found in the past on other vehicles when the side/tailgate opens at the top some of the timber gets stuck it can be quite frustrating

looks brilliant by the way:thumbup:
