oh thats a million dollar question mate, one for over a cup of tea i think, that cafe' is calling :thumbup1:

 

he certainly pushed the boundaries and training methods that elevated martial arts in general, Tao of jeet kun do is a book lee wrote while in the hospital with a broken back ( i think it was his back) and it really is fantastic what he was saying and doing years and years ago, that only now has become common practise.

 

Years ahead of his time, ive trained under instructors who trained with lee and ive sat having dinner listening to stories of him he really was a one off.

He is a Legend for sure, Like Robert says. Pushed the boundries and woke the entire globe up to martial arts :thumbup1:

The dudes a legend mate, Not quite up there with Lee but hes provided some of THE best cheesey martial arts films ever :thumbup:

 

 

His karate credentials are pretty good too, Did you know his real name is Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg, Yes i am THAT sad hahahaha

some useless information about him ---he was also a massive cocaine head he also bottled out an mma fight with wesley snipes that joe rogan/eddie bravo ( mozza will know them) was setting up at a charity event in hollywood about 5 year ago. :biggrin:

 

he was very suple thats for sure but such an edjit and could really bust a move on the dance floor :001_rolleyes::lol:

I was Really hoping he'd fight snipes it would have been so funny to watch, he's on about fighting again this year, I can't remember the name of the guy he's suppose to be against, van damme must be skint now and needing the brass :laugh1:

 

Aye the suppleness comes from balet, he reckons the balet training is twice

Has hard as the martial arts training, earned him some money doing the splits in his films all the time haha
