I took 50 off him and they are robust. just a shame that he doesn't do a 1 m3 bag

Excellent if your loader can handle the weight. Since my earlier post, experience has shown that my bobcat is happiest with the 0.75m3 bags:thumbup1:

on a carbon neutrol theame and care for the enviroment and all that, try calling in at your local farmers and asking them for 500kg fertilizer bags tie the bottoms of the bags and fill with logs , they will be more than happy to get rid!!!

The problem with the grain and feed sacks is that they are not vented so green logs will sweat in the bag and go mouldy.

 

 

previous posters have suggested slashing the sides of these bags with a stanley knife to make your own vents. I have tried this this year but the jury is still out.

 

THe vented bags work a treat and can be re used over and over again so still quite green.

just do 6, 6" cuts on each bag face ,works fine

we have seed potatoe bags that hold ton of pots they stand over six foot high and are about a meter wide and are vented , i know most of the farmers around are way just get rid once used , the trouble is they are very big and hold alot of timber.
