Took my missus for a meal here yesterday for our 10th wedding anniversary. Its a fave of ours, which is now a restaurant seving Jordanian food, with the most amazing atmosphere....bare stone walls, with lichen and moss etc on the stones, candlelight only, and after the meal the owner gets his tabla out and performs, or his wife sings. Its really really good, and if you are down this way it is a must. Book early though.:001_smile:

V cool mate; I went there about 10+ years ago and had a coffee! I had thought the owner was italian but I'm wondering if it was the same chap; I haven't a flippin clue about accents :blushing: He was a very obliging host I remember. Only other thing I remember is that the construction is unique in that it uses the existing rocky outcrop for foundations or summat like that???

Head to Redruth, then to Four lanes, take the Carnkie turning, get into the village, and creep through till you see a tiny road n your right with signs to carn brea castle.....and go off roading...the track is passable in a car...
