So this is the outcome of when the cat brings her super up to the house.....

Basically the cat brought the rabbit she had caught up to the house....so the yellow lab nicked it off her, and as he was carrying it out of the house to eat it, he walked past his grandson (mastiff/ greyhound/ lab cross) which he thought was doing something other than just walking past, so attacked him. He turned round and caused the damage in pic one (there is also a gash under his nose)...at which point the yellow lab basically gave him the bad news.....when my wife had extracted the young dog from the lab's jaws, the young dog legged it down the yard and hid under the sawmill, and the little tiny dog in the last pic (which is only about 6 months old) has been hiding away all evening.....The lab just went back to eating the rabbit...whilst spraying blood everywhere- he wouldnt let go of it as my wife tried to stem the flow.....honestly, hes a nightmare!!!:001_rolleyes:

and i bet the cat just sat back and watched the mayhem before heading out for another rabbit!!

Haha- yes. She is a tw@t though- this has been happening now for ages- every time she brings one back the dog eats it...you would think she would learn:001_rolleyes:

Its not like the dogs dont catch their own, or rats....

One of my cats has taken to bringing moles home and hiding them until the house humms with the smell of decomp!

Perhaps I ought to get a Lab to eat them before they hide them!
