Tried the Elton Aquafell and found them a bit baggy. OK for me for ground works but not for climbing. Don't know if the hydrofells are the same. Just started on a pair of Meindl Airstreams and they're the dogs dangly bits so far. Again, they might be different to the ones you are looking at but I find the Meindls a stiffer boot so more support for climbing.

I'm on my third pair of hydrofells:thumbup: really like them a mate of mine has the auquafells and I'm not so keen on them they dont feel like they'r as sturdy or as comfey to wear I'v never had a blister breaking in a new pair he hobbled around like an old lady for the first few weeks he had them.

As for climbing in them again I really like em good grip and support and enough heel to be good for spikeing, all in all I dont think you can go far wrong with them for what they cost.

My mate had the Meindl boots and he reckoned they were a little slim on the fitting. I've got the Zermatt GTX (red goretex ones) and personally I think they're the best boots I've ever had. (jonsie sells them)
