As always Pete, you are being to insightful.

I hate the reason for a removal being 'its too tall'. As far as i'm aware the sky isn't falling in.

why people feel the need to 'reduce' the height i don't know.

No Pete you are right i was just been picky the issue it needlessly felling healthy trees just because it might cause or be a problem.

Maybe we shouldnt drive to work incase we have a accident.

Maybe the AA should be working to stop dodgy consultants giving insurance company's what they need to carry on this slaughter instead of trying to say any one not in their approved system is a cowboy.

AA, OCA,ISA the list is endless, the consultants perpetuate the problem, it is the precidents set in the past. The money involved in subsidance claims, the consultation and subsiquent tree work must bankroll massive sectors of our industry

perhaps the council should have a bit more weight. They could use their own inspectors but then they would always air on the side of caution.

If it had to come down then I would loved to have done the work.

scenes like the Plane being felled in the video will be a legacy of the dark age of Insurance driven removals and that the great and the good of the Arb world will be carrying out far less dismantles and many more reductions.
