Or well identify it for me please.

I bought some a good while ago to make prussik loops out of but was considering splicing a bit of it but I cant remember what it is, therefore dont known which type of splicing to do.

 

Any help mucho apreciato.:thumbup1:

 

I also have some yellow and black stuff but I think thats marlow double braid.:thumbup1:

Looks like beal 10.5mm sport climbing rope?

yep marlow double braid

nice and easy and very forgiving to splice

makes lovely tool strops

I had loads and have given most away to folk wanting to learn splicing as it,s very soft and forgiving:blushing:

So would that be a class 2 type splice?

 

The yellow and black one which I dont doubt Jonesie got it right looks like this.

Actually are they both double braids and what type of eye splice should I try to attempt?
