Cracked ribs

So i've managed to crack a rib or two, thought id just bruised them, but turns out there cracked, and yes it sure hurts!

Worked the last couple days which was abit of a struggle but carried on, i always find the best way to deal with injury and pain is to carry on working as usual, just change the way you do things to make it a little less painfull.

Was just wondering if anyone else has had knackered ribs, and if you carried on working, what did you do to help ease the pain and get yourself through the day? :)

Breath calm to settle the movement on your rib cage. Sure you have worked that one out for yourself though:001_rolleyes:

Shorter pulls on your assent should also help though. Basic's of it less is more & if you can get somone else to climb, all the better.

Rest up a bit if you can mate coz the healing can take long enough as it is & if not a proper job you may find they give you gip in the winter.

Alternativly man up & get on with it:lol:

LOL yeah thats about all you can do.

I did it years ago and tbh it still hurt every now and then for years afterwards, although it probably was because I carried on working and didnt rest like I was told.

So I recommend a rest for at least a week or 2 if you can that is!

Man up is the response my mates have given me :sneaky2: lol

Breathing, ive sure found out i gotta take that steady :001_huh: painful otherwise  Been taking pain killers, climbed yesterday and grounded today. Grounding was alot easier, so going to try that for a week or so if i can.

Good heads up about pain in the winter, got plenty of other injuries with give me jip in the bad weather
