What happens if you arent more effective? Or are you always more effective?

(genuine q.):001_smile:

Tommer, Wasn't really making an observation on their overall share price mate, much more of their overall approach, their lack of respect within this forum, the quality of their design department, the lack of leads many businesses get from Yell adverts, my general opinion of how they operate, the tactics some of their sales staff use and the huge increase in the amount of people who tell me they wont be advertising with them any more.

As far as your question above is concerned, as i'm not on here to sell a service, I dont think I need to go into too much detail. What I will say is that I have never been less effective, and for that particular service we have a contract which takes into account our clients success with Yell, their expectations of us and our forecast of results. This contract is designed for peace of mind of the client and basically, if we dont achieve the results, we dont get paid.

You do also need to consider though, that a decision to use us, or any other service, is a business decision of the client, and usually any such decision involves some kind of risk.

Cool. Thanks. Think I missed the point somewhere before!

Having had dealings with Yell myself, i have to say i have found them to be the most useless and annoying crowd ever!

Dont think you missed the point mate, you just studied the link much better than me. I just clicked on it, saw a line heading down, and jumped to a conclusion.

To be honest, on inspection that graph doesn't show anything, other than the shareholders were spooked by something on a particular day. You can see when the market opened, it dropped significantly, that could be for 1000 reasons. :thumbup1:
