hi guys we use a posch spaltax foot operated machine meens you can hold logs with both hands ie turn them through 90 degrees and split them again ifyou dont have 4way splitter on say in gnarly oldbits i dont agree these are unsafe as you are holding the side of the log .dont need to tell you how to suck eggs!!!

Cool; did the same with my Riko - converted it to one had operation. Hardly a conversion - just tighten a big washer on the back control arm which locks the two levers together so either operates the ram.

 

I heard David Cameron went to split logs during election night for stress relief!

 

 

any chance of a picture of that?:thumbup:
