messing about with felling this small oak, twin stem, one stem weighted too much to pull over against lean by hand (bank+house below) so stropped the 2 together, with slack, felled the stem weighted in the right direction, then back felled the other stem, weight of the 1st stem pulling the 2nd over:001_smile:

then a video of felling a small rowan into another . . .no reason, just for fun

Thinking outside the box there lad. You'll end up getting good at this and working abroad!

 

Would have laughed if the little stem had pulled the big one backwards - CRRRAAAAASSSSHHHHHHH!

unfortunatly thinking outside of the box got us in a bit of bother today, nocking out a days work, 3 jobs by 10am . . . unbeknown to us, the clients were paying by the hour!:blushing:

i think its almost perfect for our work, our boss has done well with the design of the back, interior lights, sliding saw tray, plenty of space for kit, saws, 2 inch heavy duty lift on the rear, eats up road miles, and alright offroad for a soft roader, its no landy but doesnt pretend it is
