i use zingit aswell, i use a throwcube which is handy and annoying. If you chuck it around folded up for a bit the string will find a way of tangling itself up, and its a wasted 20mins fixing it. Now i just use a piece of wood!

:wtf:

so you make your life harder by wrapping it round a piece of wood instead of taking a bit of care with your gear.

i have 2 throwline cubes, and to be honest i rarely have to deal with major tangles. the only time it happens is if someone doesnt put the throwbag back in its little pocket

try taking a bit more care with it and you will find its far better than using a bit of wood

IT does depend how it went back in the bag, i always put the bags in the pockets, but when its in my kit bag it can get shook around and the bags work themselves out of the patches. I halved the 150' i had because that would get tangled every time it went in, which was fustrating, i find the piece of wood is ok, it stops it getting tangled, its easy enough to pack away.

Its worst when somebody else usus my line and instead of flaking the string into the bag, they just pick it all up and dump it in. Thats happened a couple of times and never will again because people just dont know what to do even when i say flake it back in. bah.

Other times its been fine, can open it and use it right away. just need to be more careful, as much as i am now.
