i went with yale vulcan and yale cypress to match the fiery and green themes.

Well the competition is finally over. I would like to thank all of you that have entered and wish you luck. The competition saw entries come in from all over the World. It is amazing the power of the internet. This competition was launch on Arbtalk first then Treebuzz but soon got coverage across most of the Arb Internet Chat Forums. We had some excellent entries along with some crazy entries. We will however launch the name of the rope and the winning contestant on Thursday 4th June. Thank you again for taking the time to submit your entries.

Thanks for all the many weird and wonderful name suggestions for the new rope. We literally had hundreds of suggestions from ALL OVER THE WORLD.

 

So, Without further ado.....

 

Yale Cordage is proud to announce the arrival of IMORI - pronounced as EEE-MOR-LEE which is Japanese for Newt but also means "Good Forest"

 

The winner being - Dr. John Gathright of Tree Climbing Japan.

 

IMORI will be available in limited numbers at next weeks ARB Show (11th 12th June Cirencester) or from your preferred Yale dealer.
