Icelandic volcanic ash alert grounds UK flights

my eldest has gone to thailand for 2weeks with her boyfriend and parents and was due back 2moro morning, apparently cos theres been some volcano erupting all flights in and out of london long hall have been cancelled, the good news is that the flight company have put them up for the nite in some expensive hotel in india and she said she even has a swimming pool in the room.. jammy bugger.:thumbup:

 

has anyone else got a long hall flight cancelled due to the same reason?

Mad aint it mate, All britains airports grounded, Gotta feel gutted for everyone who is supposed to be going on holiday tho :laugh1:

ive got a regular customer who's supposed to be flying out to india this week, cant see that happening

Just said on the news it might last up to another 36 hours, Then it should return to normal, Gonna be a massive back log of flights tho

just found out she cant leave the hotel and that they have kept travellers passports cos they wer passing threw so they are classed as illegal:thumbdown:
