Sun cream for arbs?

No sunscreen here, I wear one of these and always long sleeves. My avatar's an old pic.

I put on the spf all year round, have a spare hat/cap in the bag for break times, i wear a summer Buff to keep it off my neck and a T-shirt on for most of the day. The dry oil stuff is great.. just remember to re-apply and the SPF reduces each year so buy new each year... and store it out of the sun....

Dont know if its been mentioned yet but its UVB that burns you and is known to cause cateracts, And UVA that causes ageing.

 

So check what you buy does protect against both, Some only do UVB.

 

I should never get cateracts as i wear sunnys all year around:001_smile:

Riemann is good, but expensive. You only need to apply it once and it gives 10 hours protection.

Use decent factor (20-40) Ambre Solaire here, avoids the need to re-apply.

 

The secret is to slap it on early and rub it in well before you get minging!

 

Love the smell of it as well. Convinces me we might have a summer.
