If I was to come over to UK for a visit which Show should I aim for?

Which is the best one and where would I meet u guys?

Depends on what you want to get out of it.

 

AA in June has all the whistles but not masively sociable.

 

The Arb Show :: The Arboricultural Association's Arborists' Trade Fair

 

Capel manors celebration of Trees up in North London in a couple of weeks

is a mini AA but certainly more sociable.

 

Celebration of Trees - Capel Manor College

 

Likewise with Justins fare in August in Kent.

Cant say anything on the East of England Ciutters & Climbers as I've not been yet.

Looks like I'm traveling to the Arb show...

Where is good to stay? Cosy B&B, Bachelorhouse, WMCA, your grannies henhouse.....any ideas? Or do I just go to the local Pub and drink myself into oblivion and fall asleap in the mens room?

 

Good way of travelling from London? Rent a carl, go by train, hitch-hike or what?

 

Suggestions and help needed?!?

The biggest, and the best (sorry justin!) APF 2010, the UK?s largest forestry and arboricultural exhibition is returning to the same location as its hugely successful 2008 event.

If your going to the APF, fly in to East Midlands, Birmingham or Manchester. Post a "lift request" and get a ride in with a member.

For the Arb show there is a tiny railway station nearby called Kemble. It is about 4 miles from the showground, and plenty of trains go there from London Paddington everyday, some are direct and others you would have to changes trains at Swindon.
