Whak kit will I need for the cs30 & 31 training course.

Evening all,

 

I have managed to get myself booked onto Cumbria Woodlands and Westmorland County Agricultural Society CS 30 & 31 chainsaw course and wondered what to expect and what kit will I need to take ?

try a saw!

 

ok, il be serious then!

 

chainsaw, pref ms260 or 357xp size, 15" ish bar.

 

ppe as per afag.

 

fuel and oil,

 

fellin lever

 

maintenance tools, such as files + guides,

combi-spanner

small screwdriver

rags/paper towels

old paintbrush (1")

 

 

ps - this list is not exhaustive!!

 

your course instructor should have most bits that you dont, or be able to advise on what to get n where.

best to ask the course organiser - it varies. most will want you to bring ppe.

they should provide all equipment really, i gues thats why the course is so cheap.

Cheers men, I have a MS180 I can *cough "borrow" with a 12 inch bar, will that be too small ?
