Dont take this the wrong way, this is meant to be constructive!

 

my only grip is that there appears to be many tools spread eagled all over the place and no "escape route" that seems like an obstruction clear path.

 

if this fell had gone wrong, and you needed to make a quick exit, would you want to be tripping over tools?

 

Tidy worksite is a safe worksite.

yeh they both said they were very impressed. I was happy with it myself but if you look in one of the photos i had the chainsaw at a slight angle which ended up giving me a slight tilted back cut btu apart from that i wa shappy with it.

Ok, Jack, it looks like Hama has touched on part of what i was asking for.

 

If this is one of your first medium fells, then so be it, but i hope your tutor gave you a bit more than a pat on the back!

 

It is not to discredit you, its your tutors not giving you correct guidance.

yeh course they give me some guidence before and after the fell. It was my first medium fell, i started college in Sep 09 and so i have alot to learn. My tutors are very good at giving guidence throughout the fell and also very good at teaching our course.

BUT, a tutor should not be giving praise for that type of felling!

 

Jack, go back to your tutor and ask him if there is anything you could improve on following that fell. If he has nothing to add, get another instructor.
