Felled a tree at the side of this apple and was lazy so didn't tie back a branch and caught it.

 

I asked the client for some gaffa tape and bandaged it up for him

 

I did say if his tree didn't recover or died I would put in a replacement.

I remember Mr Miyagi doing that to a damaged bonsai in Karate Kid.

Cut the top off, put in some posts and wire and then prune and train it as an espalier. bada boom bada bing.

That did occur to me but I found it much more entertaining gaffa taping it up whilst chucling like a big kid
