It went very well, I was amazed at some of the very good questions some asked, one girl asked "have you ever taken a risk to cut down a tree?" I pointed out that we always do a RA and mitigate any risk:sneaky2:

I showed them my rope and harness and told them about always having 2 anchors when cutting, but later when looking at some pic's of me cutting a teacher asked where my second anchor was :blushing:

I hope you washed that harness and rope first, it was caked in muck last time I saw it :001_smile:

Well done, great job. Always good to educate the Young ones. I did a simliar thing for the Beavers group that sent me and my colleagues parcels in Afghan over Christmas they all brought something in from home and made us 4 parcels each and they all wrote letters so when iwas back i made sure we visited them and gave a talk and showed some kit all in our desert uniform, very excited and then it turned in to a mass water fight.

Anyway i was going to suggest entering the room from the ceiling on your harness and rope to get there attention straight away. Oh well perhaps next time.
