well me and her indoors av decided to goto brussels this year for a weekend in august, without the kids :001_tt2: anyone been and can recommend any attractions to visit and wot have ya, we'l be in the city centre and travelling by eurostar, got a good deal on a weekend break:thumbup:

There is the Africa musiem at Tervuren (its abit out of town but that means you get to go an a tram thingy:thumbup:), anyway, the musiem is good, but its set in a cracking park, monster beech trees, straight as a die, and 1st anchour point about 60 ft up, awsome!

Been with the wife we stayed here Brussels Hotels: Hotel Amigo Official Site, Luxury Brussels Hotel in Belgium, A Rocco Forte Hotel

Nice place did a lot of walking and drinking and good food in the alley ways off Grand Place (main square).There is a nice bar with the biggest log fire ever there as well.:thumbup1:

Can't remember what else we did it was a while ago. Ask the wife at the weekend, she remembers everything, I think its a woman thing.:confused1:

went a couple of years ago dont remember to much toher than the red light district is Sh*t hot but am guessing you wont be going there if you are going with the wife! other than that, Id say go look at the older part of the city much more interesting!
