Well, got it back, and as the mechanic forewarned, it dies in the cut.

 

Its a worst case scenario.

Is the worst case scenario that one of the cylinders is shot? Or is it more like new engine time!

I find this entire Efi incompetance culture quite incomprehensible.

It's a twin cylinder petrol engine not a Rolls Royce Merlin.

The first Briggs Efi mechanic blamed a wire rubbed through and GM's installation.

That wasn't the fault either.

How hard can it be to fix ?

They don't even need to dismantle anything to access the engine.

With just two cylinders there cannot be many options in finding faults.

The @Ty Korrigan scenario where I spend months chasing an answer till I eventually go clinically insane and end up standing outside a supermarket, shouting and hurling faeces at passers by.
