Not had any oak before so not sure how it should smell. But it’s got a sweet smell to it. Maybe a mixture of logs 🤷‍♂️ 

One of them were huge, I’d imagine that was oak.

To me Oak has quite a distinctive vinegar like smell. Judging by the end grain in that last of the first lot of photos of yours I'd be surprised if that wasn't Oak. 

 

If you think you may have a mixture of logs then maybe some of it is Poplar. Superficially quite similar to Oak when it it gets big in diameter, the bark especially. I've a vague memory of it smelling sweet when fresh cut, but I could be wrong, it's been a while.
