just got a call from a mate of mine

 

Hayseed Dixie are playing rock city in Nottingham tomorrow night :thumbup:

 

for the uninitiated who haven't heard of em (and that'll be the majority of you), they're a hill billy group who cover loads of other artists

i'm getting sad in me old age

 

but, got a free pass from the wife, inc hotel stayover, so it'll be a messy night and i'll not be fit to swing a saw on friday :blushing:

DMan, I see your from North Notts/South Yorks. I lived in Tickhill for a few years, awesome pubs, great working mens clubs and really welcoming people in that area. Stayed their from '82 to '85 (weekends only) and it was like a long summer really. Great place, great times.
