Hey, not looking to break the bank. What petrol powered log splitters would you recommend?

Looking for one that is capable of splitting rings with knots and branch unions! Not just straight grained demo logs!🤣

Rock Machinery Venom C-Series 15 tonne.

£1375 all in.

I got mine last week and have been very impressed.

The 22 and 30 versions would be even better, but I was tight on storage space.

I have the venom 22 and I can highly recommend it, it has handled many gnarly lumps with ease.and the ability to split in both the horizontal and vertical positions has come in very handy, especially on larger lumps.

I also have the 22t venom. I rate it highly in that it sips petrol, can be used horizontally or upright, and i have never yet found anything it could not get through. Mine has the earlier type of suspension units, and although I have towed it on the road in the past it is a bit lop sided for road use now. I note the newer ones have different suspension.

I had an axle fitted to my 22t venom and now has proper 13in wheels. I just didnt trust those tiny wheels it comes with. I am putting mine on ebay when i get time as im getting to old for bending over splitting logs all day.
