Just looked that up, never seen it before but looks really good. I really like the smooth progressive release on a hitch, but went for RRP to allow switching from DRT to SRT. Seems the Freexion is also designed to allow that.

Yes, is that the right terminology?

You set yourself up in postion, then try to move a bit for whatever reason and the rope has trickled  through the ZZ and you are locked in place.

Yeah, on the few occasions I've used one that did happen and did annoy a bit. Offset by the general luxuriousness though. I enjoy a quick taste of the high life if someone else has one.
