Can anyone recommend a manual tyre changing tool for small tyres?

I'm in the same position as you, Muddy. Take the plunge and report back please. £52 for the one you posted would be nice. Only difference is I would be happy to spend £200 if it gets me something of better quality, even if still manual.

Buy a proper garage tyre machine, we picked one up used for £200 with a wheel balancer out of a local garage. Have changed countless chipper tyres with it. Fit our own van tyres also.

They take a fair amount of space and are heavy to move, also needing power or compressed air. Wouldnt have been practical for me, I have extremely limited space.

I change a lot of small tyres - mowers, quad, trailers, wheelbarrow etc.  Some tyres I can remove with basic tools, a vice, lubricant and lots of swearing, but some defeat me.  The local garage doesn't really like changing small tyres and they have taken two weeks so far to do the last one and no doubt it will be expensive. I can fit valves, tubes, patches, plugs and all the other bodges for non-road use. Can anyone recommend a manual tyre changing tool for small tyres? Something like this?  Thanks

Or if you were really stuck you could do this, but proper tyre lube makes it easier.

What about one of these, seen one being used.  Designed for the kind of size wheels you're talking about, from 4" to 13" I think.

The TC811B is also a new design of an existing concept. With previously manufactured machines, the height below the bead breaker is...

Don't know price mind you.

Website says to log in to see price. Crying out loud. It's a tyre machine, not a coach built car.

Probably because they're trade only, give them a call.  Might be an option for buying your tyres too

Never had a problem if a puncher needs mending anything from barrow to 38in tractor but just get company to fit new on truck and trailers.,

Went to have a ifor williams trailer tyre mended once and fitter said you can't do them with leavers, I said why so once he broke bead he handed me two leavers and said have ago, that was a challenge I was not going to miss. After about a couple of minutes tyre had parted from wheel and tyre fitter stood there shaking his head, he had set challenge to others and most only got one side off.
