Good client so I’m making the effort.
2 Spruce (might be Douglas, I’d need to see the cones, terrible on conifers)

They sent me some pictures, one has this sort of powdery bits on, best seen in the close up.
Browning off needles bla blah.
I need a disease to give them if you know what I mean.
Any of you lot know what it is?

TIA

Double white stripes underneath for douglas isn't it? Similarly shit on conifers. And just trees really but you did ask.

It's been said before, you are monstrously pikey. How many clients have you driven to a cashpoint this week?

You reckon? Does that explain the powdery white deposits?

I don't know mate . Its just West Dean have felled huge areas of spruce recently to try to prevent the spread of the critter .

No no. Don't start caring about the answer being right now. They're walletfillius spores as far as you're concerned. Like money fungus.

Very good!

These two trees are though a gate and up steps behind a house, not an easy removal.

I have already flatly refused to top them many times.

Genuinely, they have spent a small fortune with me over the last 15 years (and they’re American so expect their ‘expert’ to show some expertise occasionally)
