My brother bought one to help his son (my nephew a tree surgeon ) to move wood etc.

He fitted a fixed grab to it.

It does the job, better than handballing it.

Had to replace the tracks very soon after purchase, but otherwise is happy enough.

As with any Chinese machine, it'll be fine until the first time it goes wrong and you need parts or someone to work on it.

Unless they have a UK dealership and parts shipping like liugong, sany, sunward etc.

If you reckon it'd pay for itself quickly it may be a gamble worth taking you might be quids in, but it is a gamble.  I've not tried these though.

Maybe you ask them about parts, but what thry tell you and whst happens when you need them might be two different things

I understand, and it’s not for me.

I had a similar conversation with my brother, and as he is more than quite handy, he was undeterred.

All hydraulic parts are metric and available off the shelf, the engine is unsophisticated to say the least, but repairable or replaceable.

The price is at least a 1/3 or even a 1/4 of the equivalent well known marque.

They’re in the showrooms over here.

I don’t want one, but if I was starting out, they’d be difficult to resist.
