Absolute load of cobblers.

Do keep your negative opinions to yourself. This bloke is trying to make a go of it and your casting aspersions based upon your own scant experience.

I guess you would never tell an employer you had say your truck licence? Would you just surprise them by turning up in a truck one day ?

He asked I said what I think ,believe me it is many people will agree with me !

Good luck fella, i worked in traffic when I first started on the roads and it's hard graft so you've got that side sorted. Not many young lads save to better themselves, fast cars and fast women usually come first, or should I say they did for me. As said above, ring every tree company in your chosen area I'm sure someone will give you a start with your attitude.

Looking on the bright side he is young enough to have had a child trust fund, so could easily believe in investing in his future 🤔

Didn’t have a child trust fund pal worked many 15-16 hour days in traffic management to eventually save up for my tickets

In a few years time those old 'friends' will be wondering how you managed to get a stable well paid job whole they're still bumming around.  Best stage of life to woek hard sets you up well for future, well done.
