Got a 4 year old saw done virtually no work and segments on the motor armature have picked up on the armature seizing  the motor . Anyone replaced the motor ?
I am wondering if it’s worth going for the 220 or possibly 300 next time

not impressed with what I found inside . All a bit cheap and flimsy

There is a thread running at present:

Consensus seems to be MSA220 better bet than 300. I am very happy with the performance of the 220, and the run time on an AP300 battery. Once the wood gets bigger I go for the MS261 or 462.

I go from a 220 with 16" bar to a 500i with 25" bar. I keep wanting to want something like a 362 or 400 with a 20" but I just don't need one. I'd do three cuts with the 20" and then need the 25" anyway. This is climbing btw.
