I volunteer for the RSPB, after all I’ve spent enough time parked on (not their access road). I do it because I enjoy it, and the ranger Paul gave me a radar key so I had access to the disabled toilets 24/7 enabling me to fill with water and empty my toilet cassette when no one was about to see what I was doing.

on the plus side, at least youre not clogging up the roads slowing down real motorists while you amble from place to place in your bus

Wild camping, it'll push the right buttons for the wanderlust, but it won't cover the social side you are missing unless you go with other people too.
