Converting manual tipper to electric

I have not used a tipper trailer.

A manual tipper likely comes with a single action ram and lowers by a release valve back to the tank. Often that release valve on manual stuff is along side the pump so you might need to get a valve for that.

Commercial electric pumped versions might have a double acting ram where it will lower under power.

Why not just ask Ifor if there's a kit, they no doubt sell it as an option.

Plus saves all the messing around making it hard for yourself, might a few quid more but it'll be bolt on I bet as it's all value engineering.

Hi,

I want to convert my manual Ifor TT2012 tipper to electric. Is this as straighforward as simply removing the manual pump and attaching the hydraulic cable to the electric pump, mounting it with a 12v battery? Thank you!

Yes - exactly that.
Don’t disconnect any hydraulic fittings with the bed raised unless you have it properly supported…..
