Can I add to the above.....the crankcase is different. Certainly the half (if not both) that is the clutch side as the later clutch/chain covers are NOT interchangeable due to differences with the casing castings. Overall, there really isn't much too similar between pre-mtronic and mtronic models

That may be true but I always understood the mtronic 261 was still backwards compatible? The plastics even have holes for carb adjustment. I thought  you could just replace ignition, carb, wiring etc and your good to go.

You can, but if you want the sexy later chain cover then that part isnt upgradeable unless you change that half of the crankcase so it fits

I presume that there are stihl dealers in Bulgaria, if so I dont see why they cant get hold of mtronic spare parts.

I dont know if we ship to Bulgaria but you could add an item to your cart then input your address to get a shipping price. If we dont ship there then as Spud said l&s may ship, someone will.

The Mtronic version will not have holes for carb adjustment.....unless someone has swapped it out.

Im away from home otherwise Id check and photograph it. Its a 2023 model.

im sure mine has holes in the white plastic shell to allow your tuning screwdriver to reach an adjustable carb if one was fitted.
