Received this text message from a random number otherday, claiming to be a mate. Figured he had taken my number from my website. Few of us have received the same text. So it’s either someone trying to flog stolen gear or a scam. Or both. 
 

Anyone else received one similar?

More often than not I delete them and don’t think twice. But the language in this one made me think if it was from a number that I maybe hadn’t saved. Even though it’s not something anyone would text me. It still intrigued me enough to wonder who it was. 
 

So if anyone with dodgier mates than mine who may have replied 😂 let me know how much he wants for the 500i

No harm done Bocca, tell your mates, tell your parents, tell your grandparents.

Tell them to tell everyone they know.

If it’s a text, it’s a scam.

 

If it’s genuine and a text doesn’t work they will contact you by other means.

 

Just to be on the safe side, can you PM me your card details and last 3?
