Eh i went to see Leonard Cohen at Edinburgh castle about 15 yrs ago,, only thing that slightly excited me about the night was his backing singers, the rest of it was boarder line shite TBH, went with a women who was mad on him, she got the tickets and booked the hotel, and all i can say is what a rip off it was, £48 to park a car for 16hrs in hotel car park, £12 for a breakfast that consisted of not so much for the money back then, first and last time for every thing and this was bothe,,

We  got given a box at the Albert Hall in about 71, cannot remember much about it but he wasn't bad.

His style went more to his roots as he got older.

I certainly understand how a rocking boppper wouldn't get excited with his music but for truly depressing Harry Nilsson did it for me.

Can we talk about underrated bands in this thread too?

Idlewild are excellent (and I think pretty well known) but don’t show the signs of conventional success. I’ve got YouTube videos with more views than them. Mick Dempsey has more followers on instagram.

Make it make sense. I’d have given a kidney to be at the Iona show.
