If someone did that on my job I’d assume they were mental frankly.

Ps, you might not hear from me for a while, currently sitting on my car bonnet in full camo parked outside Stirling lines in the hope of a job.

I did it once, not the car bonnet thing but the old hear a chainsaw and go running to find it.

 

Discovered two old guys with a tirfor pulling a severed limb out a big softwood. Went over and said hello, I've a climbing kit in my car if I can help at all?

The guy was enraged, "so the F have I and if I thought I f'ing needed it son I'd be wearing it!".

 

I started using the phone to enquire after that.
