I’m currently wearing Class 2 Haix Protector Forest 2.1 GTX but I think they are causing contact dermatitis. I’ve had it before with other boots but not to this extent! Has anyone else had this problem, and if you have, any recommendations on a better boot. Thanks!

If you're swapping boots have a look at the Crispi Forst. Very lightweight and comfortable. I've got both now and Crispi's feel half the weight. Felt like slippers in comparison and they weren't overly stiff like the Haix

Maxxdry boot dryer and some bridgedale or similar wool socks. The mesh army surplus insoles help to lift the foot above moisture.

Always wonder if membraned boots eventually have a negative impact. Once the membrane is clogged and dirty, are the benefits gone? Hard to techwash boots as you would a jacket.

I am on old school Pfanner Tyrol Juchtens atm. Easy to wax and look after, resolable, tough as a nail, great on spikes all day, stable on bad terrain, awful for getting your foot stuck in crotches and tearing up soft bark...
