Morning all,

 

Going up to 26 degrees here today.

 

Went to Pirtek hydraulics yesterday (I know they are not the cheapest, but there are nearby and always have the right fittings in stock) and asked them to fit a flow reduction valve in a very new looking hose off my hedgecutter. Said company policy was make a new hose only, wanted about £170 for a 4m hose. I managed to sqeeze the valve into a tight spot on top of the valve block. Bloke was very helpful sorting the fittings for this, but their policy is either litigation paranoia or profiteering as far as I can see.
