Hello, I've had these logs/ branches seasoning for firewood for the past couple years but I have recently become interested in woodworking, so I am wondering if they are of any use. I cut them in the West Highlands to narrow it down. The logs and branches are quite heavy and feel quite dense too, there were large beech trees in the same village so it could be that but otherwise I am clueless any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers.

From the little I know, holly is a very light, almost white wood in colour. It looks a bit like that way.
