ST8 problems

Hi all,

We have a slight issue with the st8, every time it receives a large vibration from max diameter feeding the machine shuts down.

I think I have pin pointed the problem to the key panel and changed the barrel and the connecting spades, but it still persists.

I can now tap the machine with a rubber mallet and the machine will cut out.
any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I have attached a video.

Thanks in advance

I had exactly the same problem back in 2016 (I think) with one of the first models.

They sent me some extra rubber dampers for the control box which was getting too much vibration, can’t believe they haven’t sorted that problem!

We replaced the  barrel a few times as well.

Can't you contact Forst for advice ?

Yes, to be fair they used to be quite good if you got lucky who was on the fone. Bit of a lottery on that tho, one or two in service were very good, the rest not so much. This may all of changed tho as it’s best part of 2 years since we owned one and I wouldn’t want to put them down unfairly.
