So recently been wearing a fitbit watch to track my calories, steps and cardio "zone" fitness and i was surprised at my calorie burn on a somewhat normal day.Little bit of climbing this morning, back on the deck for about 10am then crosscutting, dragging and chipping till about 5pm.

4770 odd calories....23,358 steps

I know these things are approximate but it does monitor heartbeat so it must be in the ballpark.Anyone else wear one of these watches? And if so whats the craic with them?

Thats a regular work day for me out in the yard, so seems legit. I have a fitbit and 5000 calories a day is not unusual.

Just open me books ,so to burn 5000Kcal you must consume close to 11000Kcal otherwise you willl start loosing weight at drastic level and you will die from multi organ failure in about 20 days plus minus ,so you know what 11000 Kcal is ? 2 kg of dry pasta plus half kilo of butter and half a kilo steak, maybe few beers on top😆

No, my remark has a place.  It’s right there in the post, a couple above yours.

I was only commenting on what has been written.

No need for a dick measuring competition.

I don’t have a Fitbit or Apple Watch.
