Probably a stupid one but I've brought a 2003 Disco ES model that's in fairly good nick and it's just going to be a towing/occasional use car

Just wondered, are they appreciating in price or not otherwise I was thinking of dry storing it but not as it could just be a waste of time

I think the price has been fairly stagnant on them for the last few years. £3k ish is around average selling price with a really good one fetching £5-6k. Unless your planning on storing it for quite a few years I’d just use it.

They are, sadly, worth more in parts than as whole vehicles.

A good one for around £5/6k is a hell of a lot of car for the money.

If you bought a good one for £975 either enjoy it knowing it cannot depreciate or flip it straight away and triple (or more) your money if it really is good.
