Probably a stupid one but I've brought a 2003 Disco ES model that's in fairly good nick and it's just going to be a towing/occasional use car

 

Just wondered, are they appreciating in price or not otherwise I was thinking of dry storing it but not as it could just be a waste of time

They are, sadly, worth more in parts than as whole vehicles.

 

A good one for around £5/6k is a hell of a lot of car for the money.

 

If you bought a good one for £975 either enjoy it knowing it cannot depreciate or flip it straight away and triple (or more) your money if it really is good.
